For the longest time I struggled with seeing color. Seeing the light came to me rather naturally and, thankfully, is still how I see things. But color was a beast that I could not, or simply gave up trying, to conquer. This may be why I stuck to black and white photography for so long.
2 years ago I got tired of it and made a very conscious effort to focus on color and, as you may have noticed, or not, it is having a huge impact on how and what I photograph...for the better...or so I feel. I am not sure I will ever be 100% satisfied with my knowledge of color, and how to control it, but I will always be trying to better myself in that department, and that is one less weakness to confront. Next...chocolate ;)
